Thank God for granting CA an opportunity to join Hong Kong Church Network for the Poor’s forum in Kwun Tong district last month. It enhanced our ministry’s interaction with other Christian agencies and churches, which enabled us to better serve the poor in the area.

Let’s continue to pray for quick recovery of Ming Zhe, the orphan from Xining Children’s Home, currently in Hong Kong.  Please pray for two other children from Qinghai who will have their surgery soon in Hong Kong.

Clients from our New Arrival Service Centre will join the Basin Feast (Poon Choi) celebrations and visit a theme park this month. Pray that they will experience a deepening sense of community and experience God’s love as they participate.

Thank God for blessing the Cross-Cultural ‘One People One City’ charity carnival co-organized with International Christian Assemblies last year. Over 18,000 people visited despite heavy rain, and we raised more than HK$ 1 million for the disadvantaged community in Tin Shui Wai. Amen!

Pray that God will empower them with extra support and resources to provide additional life giving services to the refugees and asylum seekers.

Praise God! A local TV station is featuring our Social Enterprise Division’s recycling programme called ‘Green Collection’. Pray that the public learns more about this service, and steps forward to support it, in order to raise money to support the poor.  18

Our Training Services Division ran a successful ‘One-stop Vocational Training Service Carnival’ attended by 500 visitors last month. Pray that we can continue to provide information to benefit job seekers in their search.

Pray for Mrs. Cheung Ang Siew Mei, our Executive Director as she will be spending a week attending the Qinghai Province Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, as from today. Pray that she will continue to receive favour from officials so CA can sustainably serve orphans in Qinghai. 22
