Back to Serve Programme
- Launched in 2017, the Back to Serve Programme invites adoptees who once lived in the children’s home to return and serve those who remain there.
- It allows the participants to give back and to learn more about their hometown and the issues faced by children who are either abandoned or at risk.
- Through the programme, participants can hopefully, through reuniting with the people who took care of them as a child, fill a part of the void that may be in their hearts.
- Abigail and Bingjie, two of our former children, participated in the pilot of this programme. After spending one month training in Hong Kong, they went to Qinghai for six months.
