Battered by the social unrest and pandemic, unemployment rate in HK hits a 15-year high at 6.6%. Similarly, Christian Action’s fundraising activities have been stalled, and our subsequent income has also plummeted.
As a self-financed NGO, this is our hardest moment as we struggle to provide and sustain our crucial services to the vulnerable families and children mainly from the subdivided flat, ethnic minority, refugee and other neglected communities without sufficient funding support.
Despite the increasing challenges, we are excited to announce the launch of our “Emergency Food!” Campaign to alleviate the ever-growing humanitarian needs of the deprived and vulnerable, who rely heavily on your benevolent support. We appeal to your kindness to donate all or part of the HK$10,000 government handout to our organisation to fill the service gap under these unfavourable circumstances.
