This afternoon marks the inaugural alumni gathering of the Christian Action Scholarship for Excellence (CASE). Over 80 students are participating, 33 are past recipients of CASE Scholarships, and 11 will be receiving scholarships in this academic year. Meanwhile, more than 10 professionals from diverse trades/industries will share their experiences. Pray that the students will be inspired and empowered as they embark on their journeys into tertiary education.

Our Information and Technology Department is currently updating the Smart Classroom Scheduling System (SCSS) to ensure the compliance with upcoming amendments to the local Employment Ordinance; particularly the revised “468-rule” to be made effective on 18 January 2026. Pray that we undertake the timely revisions to work schedules and related arrangements concerning part-time staff employment. Amen!

Pray that we aid to lessen the burden of the disadvantaged families as we believe what is said in bible, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” Proverbs 22:6 Amen!

Our Migrant Domestic Workers Programme team will be running a variety of interest classes this month including language lessons, baking sessions, and DIY workshops for our clients at the shelter. In light of the government’s initiative to enhance after-school care services for underprivileged families, our On Tai Service Centre (OTSC) has implemented and extended much-needed support to three primary schools in the district serving 240 pupils, with funding from the Community Care Fund. Thus meeting the needs of these children and their families, and reflecting God’s love through our committed ministry.
